Late antenatal apps?

Just had the letters confirming the appointments for my antenatal appointments from the 'urgent' referral two weeks ago.

For my booking appointment I'll be 10 weeks exactly, and then 14 weeks for my first scan.

Does this sound right? I remember it being a lot earlier with my first.

I’m pretty sure the first scan has done before 14 weeks as there is a test that only shows up before then. I was late going to midwife and so it was a rush to get me booked in in time - ended up going straight to hospital for scan after the appointment

Yours are same as my latest pregnancy. Booking 10 weeks, scan 14 (could have been anytime 12-14 weeks I was told).

I just had my booking appt and first scan yesterday at 15 weeks, 6 weeks after I went to the gp. They said it was too late for a lot of the tests, but tbh didn’t seem concerned about it at all—though that could also be because it’s twins(!!!) so they couldn’t have done most of the tests anyway.

I know quite a few other people who haven’t been booked till quite late though, so it must be pretty common—depending on where you are, I suppose.

I think up to 14 weeks is fine. I didn't know I was pregnant until I was ten weeks, booked in a week later, scan at 14 weeks all tests were done
