Just that really. I will occasionally have wine or beer but don't want it every night, water seems a bit boring and juice too sweet to go with savoury stuff. What do you have?

Just tap water or nothing. I like to be able to taste my food.

isittheholidaysyet · 17/05/2019 16:21

Squash. (Usually apple and blackcurrant)

Fizzy if it's a special occasion.

speakout · 17/05/2019 16:25

Water.

Water is our drink of choice for thirst in our house. No one drinks squash or fizzy.

cookiechomper · 17/05/2019 16:29

diet coke or cordial.

Ivy44 · 17/05/2019 16:32

Council pop. Haven’t heard that one for a while.

Dandelion1993 · 17/05/2019 16:33

Depends on the mood, time, if anyone is visiting. But mainly the following:

Coke
Water
Squash
Wine

I always have sparkling water. Drink a large bottle with dinner almost every night. If I have wine (sparkling again - think there's a theme here?) I still have the same amount of water.

I drink only black coffee throughout the day so it is the only water I drink, unless it is really hot out. It makes the meal, in my opinion.

threesenoughthanks · 17/05/2019 16:45

Water. Nice and cold from a jug in the fridge.
I really can't imagine drinking tea or coffee except for with breakfast but obviously lots of you do.

Youngandfree · 17/05/2019 16:47

Either water or nothing

outvoid · 17/05/2019 16:49

My DP is a freak and has nothing! I don’t understand how, my mouth gets so dry...

I just drink water, occasionally juice.

PaintingOwls · 17/05/2019 16:51

Sparkling water. Prefer Highland Spring, but the amount I drink I have to buy co-op own brand.

Shufflebumnessie · 17/05/2019 16:54

Water, or if we're having a take out I'll have a can of coke.

CountFosco · 17/05/2019 16:58

It depends on the meal!

Breakfast: Milk (and orange juice a few times a year if we have visitors and are having a leisurely breakfast)

Lunch: Water always

Dinner: Water only during the week, water and wine at the weekend. But if we're having chippy fish and chips then it has to be full fat coke!

blackteasplease · 17/05/2019 16:59

Water

Occasionally wine on a weekend

blackteasplease · 17/05/2019 17:01

And it's not boring it's lovely! It's what humans are supposed to drink.

Ronsters · 17/05/2019 17:02

Nothing if I'm at home, I have a coffee afterwards.
Wine if I'm eating out

speakout · 17/05/2019 17:05

Water is the healthiest drink, milk and fruit juice can add nutrition, but not advisable in large quantities.

Water is the best for your body.

BellMcEnd · 17/05/2019 17:06

Fizzy water, tap water, heavily diluted wine or tea.

PlugUgly1980 · 17/05/2019 17:07

Squash - usually orange, sometimes black currant. And a cup of tea afterwards. If we eat out (very rare) then Diet Coke and water.

SimonJT · 17/05/2019 17:07

Water or lager.

weegiemum · 17/05/2019 17:08

Sparkling water. Wine on the weekend!

sanityisamyth · 17/05/2019 17:08

Wine or Rubens

sanityisamyth · 17/05/2019 17:09

*Ribena!

jcq17 · 17/05/2019 17:10

2 pints of water. I get so thirsty when I eat!

redspider1 · 17/05/2019 17:15

Mostly nothing actually with my meal, occasionally water. I drink lots of water, teas all day so don't feel the need for the short time eating.
