My son has SN. We applied for assessment over a year ago and still nothing is coming through. Nada. Even if it's granted it's the start of a looooong process to actually get him any help. It's torture. I'm literally so worried and concerned for him it's making me ill. Also broke from the private therapy's we have to fork out for as nothing is being done within the NHS our taxes are paying for.

I'm sure there are thousands like us out there.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, we've been at a signing class this morning.

I don't want to make excuses but we've had a really tough year and I just didn't feel like I could emotionally manage a battle, so I've just waited as I was told to and hoped they would come through. But I feel more like myself recently and am ready to start fighting.
