I'm kind of expecting to be flamed , I admit I might be being a bit oversensitive as SEN DD is doing GCSEs and it's not been an easy ride so I'm rather stressed this week!

Near me there are two shops together. Both have different deals. I walked into one shop. Bought a lot of shopping, bagged it and went into shop two to pick up something shop one didn't have.

Went to the till to pay for my two items I had picked up quickly in shop two and the staff member starting asking me what about all the stuff in your bag , aren't you paying for that too?
At first as I was distracted I thought he was asking me if I needed a bag and was like oh I'm fine thanks Blush then realised what he had said and said oh it's from next door (some of the things in the bag they don't even sell!!) and he just said nothing, looked at the bag, back at me and glared at me and carried on saying nothing..

There was a queue, it's a village where everyone knows everyone else and I'm a bit mortified!

Everyone shops at both shops and people don't even usually bag their stuff just say it's from next door!

I suspect aibu because I'm massively stressed but still aibu to think he was a bit rude?

Awaits flaming Blush

Yeah he was a bit rude but nothing to worry about op, just put it out of your head. No one would have batted an eyelid so it's not embarrassing
