To fancy so many men

Hi - am 27, been with my partner for 4 years and do still fancy him. Have never and would never cheat and don’t think polyamory is for me, but I’m wondering if it’s normal to see so many men on a daily basis who I fancy the pants off (not literally 😂) - just been out for a coffee at lunch and seen so many hunky men. Is this normal? I mentioned it to a friend and she says she never noticed other men because she is so committed to her DP - but for me it’s not an issue of commitment or loyalty, just wondering if others go through life fancying random men on buses etc lol

I think it's personally fine to look and appreciate a good looking guy without it being seen as a lack of commitment. I would worry I had lost my zest for life if I didn't appreciate nice things!

I can tell when a persons attractive but I wouldn’t say I fancy anyone I see about. I don’t really give random people a second thought to be honest. I do believe your friend when she says that - I think your mind either works that way or it doesn’t.

I can't say I really look at men when I'm out. I definitley don't fancy anyone.

I'm like this. Especially when I'm ovulating. There's a bloke at work who is alright but when I'm ovulating I just want to leap on him and climb him like a tree

I’m committed to dh and never looked at any man with desire until this year (together 13 years) I’ve developed a crush on a balding white haired man at work who is 15 years older than me. It came out of the blue. I put it down to age, I’m a decade older than you and think my hormones are playing up. I don’t fancy anyone I come across though, dh is still my main man.

@managedmis I have the same scenario. He's fairly attractive but usually I never give him a second look/thought, but when I'm ovulating it's an entirely different ballgame not literally.

I don't think it's weird or about commitment OP. I've been with Dp 7 years, were getting married and I'm 100% sure he's the person I'm supposed to be with but that doesn't mean I don't find other people sexy and/or fantasise about the postman occasionally (post man is not necessarily attractive but has pure raw sex appeal to me - I have told DP and we joke about it).
