No withdrawal bleed

So I have been on rigevidon for around 5 months now and I have always had a withdrawal bleed in my pill free week. Usually I will start bleeding just before I finish my packet or a day or two later. However I have been off the pill for 4 days now and still no sign of it. I did miss 3 pills in a row around a month ago but had a withdrawal bleed on the 4th day. I can't remember whether I continued taking the pills I had missed or whether I just stopped as I was having a withdrawal bleed. I have also missed a couple here and there since. My partner and I are pretty sexually active so I'm aware it could mean pregnancy. Although I've taken 3 tests over the last 3 days and all were negative. It's unlike me to not have some sort of bleeding by now. The date of my last withdrawal bleed was 15th April and I'm usually on a 28 day cy cle. Could it be that missing those pills has altered my cycle or is it something else?
I have also had a UTI the last couple of days but it seems to be gradually getting better. Just to note I know I have been a little reckless with my pills but my partner and I are not worried if we do conceive as we had planned to start trying soon anyway!

Any suggestions or anyone been in a similar situation and find out they were pregnant? Sorry for the long post! 🙈

You'd probably be best speaking to your GP or contraception clinic, they're the best to advise. Or pee on a stick.

I know 2 women who fell pregnant while using the pill correctly, but I don't see how that information is helpful, because they were different brands, and you aren't using your pills properly.
Essentially you've been having unprotected sex, so just take a pregnancy test.

Poas 🤷

Are you sure that it's a UTI as I had all the symptoms of UTI at the start of both my of pregnancys I'm told that it's a fairly common symptom

MamaofboysFandE · 16/05/2019 11:01

But I've already taken 3 pregnancy tests on the day my bleed was due and two since. Haven't taken one since yesterday morning but all were negative. Yes Stressedout, pretty sure as my wee (sorry tmi) was cloudy and I've been getting tenderness in my lower abdomen and a lot of bloating. However I also felt a little constipated yesterday which is unlike me. I've had a little nausea and boobs are slightly swollen but they can be symptoms of pill too. Not sure what to do really? anyone had a late positive preg test after missing af/withdrawal bleed??

@Stressedout what UTI symptoms did you have?

Those symptoms could well also be the symptoms of impending period :) I hope so if that's what you want! The 3 days off in the middle might well have messed up your cycle. I would take a new pregnancy test every third day until your period shows up, and wait to start the new pill pack until your period is done. Use other protection while you wait. Best of luck!

I had cloudy pee and a mild burning sensation when peeing tender lower abdomen and the frequent need to pee went to gp gave a sample ect (home pg test was negative) got a phone call 2 days later telling me to stop taking the antibiotics I'd been prescribed and told that I was pregnant. Apparently some women react to the early pregnancy hormones this way

MamaofboysFandE · 16/05/2019 11:38

@Damntheman I'm not too worried if I am as I say although not actively trying right now we were planning on trying fairly soon anyway! thanks 🙂

Sressedout10 oh really? did you have a blood test then? How did they find out? Would they do one though if I'm only a certain number of days over? And how late were you when you found out? Sorry for all the questions!

They took blood and urine wanted to check my kidneys or something not quite sure. When the urine cultures were negative they did a pg test on the leftover blood.
I was only 4 days late with my 1st when I saw gp so about 6 by the time I found out, though I was actually 9 weeks pregnant ( have very light periods off the pill and only 2-3 days of spotting when on it so didn't realise that the break through bleeding wasn't my period 😳).
With my 2nd dr insisted on doing a pg test before prescribing antibiotics due to 1st, I was adamant that it wasn't necessary as 3 dr had previously told me that due to complications from a botched opp that I was unable to ever get pregnant again. To say I was shocked would be a massive understatement.
I love both my dc and wouldn't change anything about them other than the almost 8 year age gap between them

I don't always get a withdrawal bleed during my pill break. Those are the best months!
