To hate my postpartum hair

Ok, so maybe "postpartum" is a bit of a stretch since my DC is actually 2 now... But I've hated my hair since the birth.

It used to be curly, just above shoulder length, but since having my baby, it's not really as curly, or the curls fall out really easily and I just end up with a frizzy mess! When DC was little, I just tied it up so I didn't have to deal with it and sometimes it didn't get washed for a week but I'd like to wear it down more often and like my hair again!

Does anyone have any advice for what to do with it? I feel like I want to chop it all off sometimes!

Have you looked into The Curly Girl method?

Not used it myself, but I’ve heard good things about how it gently encourages your natural curl to come back.

My hair turned to straw after I gave birth 6 weeks ago. I don't know what to do with it any more so I scrape it back and just make sure my fringe looks good.

I've also heard about the Curly Girl method. I'll look into it a bit more and see what it's about.

Hope your hair returns to normal quicker than mine, b0bb1n! :)

I have frantic curls. They were gorgeous during pregnancy. Once DS was 4 months old I looked like I was growing out a perm so had it all cut off (mistake) look up rice water for your hair.... honestly it's fab and check out curly girl too

I'm 6 months pp and my curly hair which went from curly to wavy during pregnancy is now straight. I'm trying to air dry it and scrunch as it dries which seems to help.
