I’ve recently moved into a lovely terraced house. It’s rented.
It’s on a street that’s evidently full of families with children, etc. In this nice weather, they are all outside playing, which is lovely! The issue is, our back yard isn’t very private. While the fence is tall enough on either side, the gate at the end is quite low. The panels (?) on it are also quite far apart. I can see people/children coming and going, and they can see me when I’m in my garden.
Would it make me look rude/antisocial, if I put up a temporary trellis on top of the gate?
Also, any advice on what I can use to conceal the gate a little bit more would be useful!
