If it's anything like the indoor play kitchen they did a couple of Christmases ago, it should be rock solid. Aldi toys are great IME.

Looks much better than the fictional one made out of pallets that DH will never ever get around to making, despite how easy and cheap it apparently is to do

Depends on priorities doesn't it. If you're cash rich and time/skills poor, £55 might feel like a total steal.
