Why does DS hate his Moses basket!?

He will fall asleep after a feed, I put him down in the basket and he cries!

But in the day time he loves to sleep in his carrycot attaches to the pram which really isn't that different.

What's going on!?

He's afraid you're going to float him down the river?

Babies are weird. There's probably something about it he doesn't like.

Is your carrycot suitable for overnight sleeping? If so just give up on the Moses basket and use that instead. Mine hated the Moses basket but slept wonderfully in a travel cot- babies are strange!

Neither of mine did. So I didn’t use it. Why bother with the cries when you can prevent it?

Smells? Feels? It might not be that different to look at it in it's the same size but it may smell or feel very different to a tiny baby - even the height of it may be different "feeling"

I would line it with a top I’d worn and leaked milk over. Gradually over a few days he got used to spending time in there.

If he doesn't like it, I just wouldn't use it. I had 3 babies and 0 Moses baskets. We did ok.
