The women were empowered but realistically also motivated by urges to reproduce and form lasting relationships. The men not expecting housewives but grateful if they got them? Just throwing it out there ducks

Well I met DH in the 90s and at least there was no Tinder. I don’t think we had mobile phones which meant they actually had to ask you out with real spoken words, rather than text you or WhatsApp. Plus you couldn’t check what they were up to on Instagram, no “keeping up” on Facebook; nor could you track their location (if you’re that way inclined). Plus no instant online porn on phones. So yes, the 90s were better imo and I think its sounds like a nightmare these days.

You make good points mojitoclock I think people are reeling from the explosion in available choice and therefore the increased potential of getting it wrong?
