To not like breakfast foods?

All my life I've tried to like breakfast foods, traditional ones like cereal and toast. But I just don't like them very much at all.

AIBU to just forget the whole idea and have salad for breakfast instead? Or to make a little selection of cheese, tomatoes, parsley, leaves and anything I fancy or something like tabbouleh or soup? I just am not very keen on cereals. The weird thing is I don't mind them at other times of day, it's just the morning.

GirlFliesHome- I’ve discovered fasting helps me keep my weight down. Plus lots of research evidence on health benefits eg, it reduces inflammation, blood sugar and blood pressure.

@HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend what do you put in your Turkish spread?

sandgrown · 12/05/2019 17:55

My brother worked in Uzbekistan. We were staying in a hotel there and the locals had a very garish pink and white "birthday " cake for breakfast!

Thanks EdWinchester. I shall look into it.:)

I'm most hungry in the morning so tend to have dinner like portions then. The more savoury the better.

Fruit and yoghurt!

What a stupid post

I've just looked up a Turkish breakfast for more info, and realised it's similar to the kind of supper I often do in summer when I don't want to bother with a cooked meal.

I'd actually be happy having this for breakfast, would suit me fine at the weekends.

@littlemeitslyn if you're talking about your own, I agree with you - utterly pointless and unhelpful.
