Watching Sextape on C4 after catching a glimpse on Gogglebox 🙈

Aibu to think if that's how half the country shag and think they're having 'good sex' - it's no wonder so many of us are totally miserable or not that fussed about it 😂

That stupid woman's giggle would make me lose my hard-on and I don't even a c*ck 😳

SausageSimon from what I have seen (I haven’t watched it all), it’s all pretty routine vanilla sex, 5 minutes of pumping before going to sleep. The couple with the guy that liked to be walked on was a bit different, he had a fetish and would get off on being walked on with high heals, he gave nothing to his wife/partner in return.

For those that haven’t watched it, it’s nothing like big brother, it’s more of a group therapy session looking at what’s gone wrong with peoples sex life as well as their marriage/relationship. It shows how sex can just become a choir because it’s something that’s expected in a relationship, rather than something that’s enjoyable.

SimonJT · 11/05/2019 16:11

I just don’t get why they don’t just talk to each other, if I thought what a partner was doing was a bit crap I would tell them, and I would expect the same in return.

The weird thing about the really boring/crap sex is the fact that many are in fairly new relationships, imagine what it will be like in a few more years!

clairemcnam · 11/05/2019 16:22

5 minutes of pumping Well thats not going to do it for most women.

Too many men watch porn or films and think that is good sex.

ConorMcGregorsChin · 11/05/2019 16:27

I watched last week and was preþy horrified. Utterly awful. Really felt for some of the partners. The use of mobile phones too by a lot of the couples in bed drove me quite mad. Totally engrossed in whatever shite on social media instead of indulging themselves in joyous intimacy with their partner (oh dear, that sounded a bit sex therapist like)

And totally agree with PP. It's very evident that a large proportion of men are just too used to porn.

Grim

Fiveredbricks · 11/05/2019 17:10

@clairemcnam @ConorMcGregorsChin but the thing is... None of them fuck like pornstars so that's not even what they're doing 😂

Male pornstars would be sacked if they did the pathetic shit they do. They need a few lessons from James Deen (sans the rapey bits obviously) on how to fuck properly, imo.

Not one of them is using their equipment properly and it's quite sad :(

They`re on their phones during sex Shock

If my OH did that there would be hell to pay, how insulting.

Outofinspiration · 11/05/2019 17:39

Oh I'm totally going to have to watch this! Grin

Fazackerley · 11/05/2019 17:42

I watched the first bit.

Is it a thing now to want to be choked during sex?

One woman was talking about it as if we were all totally down with it.

When i was shagging around a bit in the 80s and 90s choking would have been weird and rapey

justasking111 · 11/05/2019 17:46

It is a good legal defence now Faz. woman dies man says she was enjoying a bit of chokey.

Fazackerley · 11/05/2019 17:49
Shock
PortiaCastis · 11/05/2019 17:57

Wonder how much they get paid for shaggin to the viewers with a bit of added heels and choking.
Hmm the mind boggles

Lovemusic33 · 11/05/2019 18:37

Fazackerley the choking thing comes from porn, if done correctly it’s meant to make a organzas more intense (so I’m told).

Porn has ruined a lot of men but none of these guys are acting like porn stars, it’s more a roll on roll off thing and not much effort put in. The sad thing is most of the couples are quite young, should be full of energy and enjoying sex.

VladmirsPoutine · 11/05/2019 18:45

It's a bit like drawing the conclusion that most marriages are shit if you spend enough time on the Relationships' board.

The people are not representative of the general population's sexual prowess. That said, I agree a lot of men have been ruined by porn.

I can't imagine it's fun being recorded having sex. That couple that let their dog watch them was despicable. As was the other couple who got off on doing it in the cinema.

justasking111 · 11/05/2019 18:47

Porn has taken all the fun out of sex imo.

ConorMcGregorsChin · 11/05/2019 18:58

Interesting how a lot of people on here agree about the porn. Slightly different angles, but it's definitely an issue and I do worry about my young daughter and what she has to face with regard to Men's expectations.

TooTrueToBeGood · 11/05/2019 19:06

I won't be pandering to this shit. The only value of any reality tv is to identify the people that should be bundled into a spaceship and shot into space never to be seen again. If you watch shit like this for more than a few seconds, you are part of the problem.

Note to op: the sort of self-obsessed fuckwits that will do anything, no matter how humiliating, for their 15 minutes of fame do not represent the general population.

VladmirsPoutine · 11/05/2019 19:18

@ConorMcGregorsChin Thing is - that's not a new concern. In my day, I was called frigid for not wanting a finger up my bum on the bus home. "But no-one will see", he said, "It'll be fun" and so forth. Told him to fuck off then got reported to the head teacher for swearing in public Confused

PortiaCastis · 11/05/2019 19:26

Spot on TooTrue doubt if that programme represents anything but egos performing to an audience

Thedogscollar · 11/05/2019 19:29

It's as tacky as Naked Attraction. Just why oh why would you go on national TV to parade around starkers and now it's progressed to having sex on tvConfused Bloody hell just get down the pub and meet someone it ain't that hardSmile

Fiveredbricks · 11/05/2019 19:29

@TooTrueToBeGood I dont watch reality TV, I rarely watch any TV at all. We don't have TV apart from Netflix and HBO for GOT. I saw this on Gogglebox in my Mums when she was watching it.

They aren't reality tv types, they're all totally normal people and having a group therapy session after. Like the genuine people who used to go on embarassing bodies yeeeears ago. That's what's so depressing about it 🤷 if it was Monica from Essex with her Lips like two horizontal courgettes entertwined then I could forgive the shit sex. But these aren't.

Fiveredbricks · 11/05/2019 19:31

@PortiaCastis think you might want to see the format of the show, first love. They're all mostly too 'average' to have any kind of ego 😂

OP posts:
SimonJT · 11/05/2019 19:31

@ConorMcGregorsChin

I think the porn issue can also make people think “well i must enjoy doing that”, it takes away their ability to explore their own desires and can cause people to go along with something they don’t really want to do.

I remember the amazing day I discovered porn as a 17 year old, it was great at times, but the thought of having to let someone do that to me was terrifying, the idea that I didn’t have to let someone do that to me didn’t even cross my mind for a long time. Which for a 17 year old living alone and going out several times a week was rather dangerous.

There was an interesting show on channel 4 about it fairly recently, I think it was called porn made by mums.

NurseButtercup · 11/05/2019 19:51

It's one of those programs that you watch in horror but can't manage to look away. LoL.

There's one on BBC iPlayer called sex therapy which is equally as grim.

I think what the program on C4 is clumsily attempting to do, is demonstrate how sex dwindles when there is a lack of communication/trust/respect etc. I also think they're trying to encourage or "normalise" discussing your troubled sex life with other people in order to gain some perspective.

It is definitely rubbish TV

PortiaCastis · 11/05/2019 20:10

Please do not call me love as I am not and never will be your love Hmm also only those with egos would be so inclined to even apply for a reality tv show so don't be so patronising
