What are the chances of getting pregnant 5 1/2 weeks after giving birth when he pulled out? If it makes a difference I exclusively pump breast milk and haven't had my period yet since giving birth. I doubt it's possible to get pregnant on the pre-stuff?

I think you'll get the contraceptive spiel at your 6 week check, they assume you'll wait for that before having sex.

They normally do mention it in the hospital- that’s my experience after giving birth 4 times! Because they know plenty of people have a go before 6 weeks.

I got a leaflet before Ds was born. Then the midwife mentioned it at the first hv after Ds was born. When I saw her for the first time with this pregnancy she said "didn't I tell you not to rely on bf".

I've not even had a letter about a 6 week appointment yet even tho I rang 3 weeks ago about it. 6 weeks on Tuesday so it'll probably be more like an 8 week appointment.

How long ago did you have sex, is it too late for the morning after pill?
