Hi posting here for traffic.
Dh has been told he has carpel tunnel syndrome and was wondering if anybody has experience of this that can give an insight to how theirs was treated and anything that helps to give relief.

Wrist supports should help.
Long term solution is surgery which is apparently quite painful

Ibruprofen.
Wrist splints at night.
Waving arms in air in the morning.

Yep, wrist splints at night, game changer for me.

Surgery on both wrists worked for me. Not painful. Sore afterwards and couldn't drive for a while but was such a relief when done. Splints were ok and helped but not long term.
