Pronouncing "nuisance" "patience" irritatingly!

I can hear rip off Britain playing on the TV as I Potter about in the kitchen and the presenter is driving me mad!!! When using the word patience she pronounces it Pay-see-ence rather than pay-shence.... And with nuisance it's nyoo-SEE-ance rather than nyoo-sance. Am I just common as muck or is that HIGHLY infuriating?! Am I just being hormonal?

I've just googled nuisance and the correct pronunciation is nyoo-sns so I'm very smug in the fact I am correct and she's just trying to be upper class and annoying!

It could be dialectical, or she could have a speech issue. I've known a few people who have had issues pronouncing certain words correctly or they've just sounded a bit off. One had had a stroke at some point and certain words just came out differently.

One which realllllllllllly annoys me ; the letter 'H' - when people pronounce it 'heach' rather than 'aeach'

It's the letter S constantly being pronounced as "sh" which bugs me. Shtrange, Shtrong, shtreet.

It's definitely not a speech issue... Or should I say Iss-yoo lol! It's a very clear attempt to have pristine mannerisms and higher class etiquette and the basics of the English language show that she is doing it all wrong which is soothing my poor pregnancy hormones back into their cage

Annoyed me when she pronounced The name Kane and made it sound like King.
