Is anyone else driven nuts by reading reviews of recipes on the internet written by people who have not actually made them but are merely intending to???

Yes! I hate that! I want to know what they thought of how it tasted, was it easy to make etc. Not endless people saying “looks lovely, I’m gonna try that this weekend.” Grin

It's like on Amazon, I don't know how many times I have seen reviews which say something like, "Arrived quickly but I haven't used it yet!"

I mean, why even bother?

mazv1953 · 09/05/2019 20:50

Exactly! And then they go on to give it 5 stars!

Yes those are so pointless. There are never any follow ups either.
I also don’t get the ones that say ‘Delicious recipe. We didn’t have lamb and used chicken instead and because we don’t like pasta, we used rice. I also left out the herbs and spices and used stock’ Hmm
