Ew no I would not! How inconsiderate.

loveheart27 · 09/05/2019 07:20

That's what I thought xx

TinselTimes · 09/05/2019 07:36

Nope, and I’d be annoyed if I saw another mum at playgroup who was really sick.

loveheart27 · 09/05/2019 07:44

I was supposed to go with a family member and didn't wanna let them down, ( I know she'll be funny with me ) but also no way would I want to pass this around !! I would be so pissed off if I saw someone sat there like me and didn't stay home!! Thankyou for your replies I'm glad I'm not being silly by not going xx

I would go if I felt ok. People still manage to go to school, work, etc with a sore throat and runny nose or, in other words, a cold.

coffeeforone · 09/05/2019 07:49

I'd go if you feel up to it. Take some hand gel and don't get too close to anyone, but I wouldn't stay at home for a cold if I felt ok.

Funnyface1 · 09/05/2019 07:52

No, I wouldn't go and expose lots of tiny children.

RestingBitchFaced · 09/05/2019 07:53

No stay at home

Damntheman · 09/05/2019 09:15

I wouldn't. It's kind of shitty to expose other adults (who might be immuno-compromised) but it's incredibly shitty to expose tiny kids. If more people were considerate like you OP, illnesses wouldn't bound around so far and fast! Rest up, I hope you feel better soon.

Witchofzog · 09/05/2019 09:20

But it's you who is sick not your dd. If you apply this rule then how far do you go? Do you not take her if any of the immediate family are ill? How about if her grandparents who she saw the day before yesterday are poorly today? How about your friends dd whom she played with yesterday and who now has a bug. Your dd may or may not come down with this too and of course it is your call but if she isn't ill herself and isn't showing any signs of being ill then I would take her

Witchofzog · 09/05/2019 09:21

Ignore the above. I read it as nursery. If it is playgroup and you are also going then no I wouldn't take her. Sorry 🙈

Shoxfordian · 09/05/2019 09:23

Not very considerate to go if you're coughing all over everyone op

NoSauce · 09/05/2019 09:25

Let the family member take your dc?
