Mostly posting for traffic, but I'm getting really fed up of the state of the skin on my hands.

I can get this dry, horrible, sore skin anywhere and it usually flares up on my neck, face and hands. Have been prescribed creams that clear up my neck and face, but not my hands.

My fingers feel like they are burning, it's awful, so sore and ugly Sad

@tartandreams this is the only product you need, I had what you have (by the looks of it) it's a fungal thing and you need this cream. Rub it in, get under the nails too, do not smoother your hands in anything else until it heals as you will add to the moist conditions, you are feeding it by trying so much other stuff.
Use bar soap, wear gloves whenever you use any chemicals. Your hands will be prone to skin reactions now. When they are healed use Aveeno or the think Norwegian hand creams.

You can buy it OTC.

I’ve had really bad eczema my whole life (40+) years and my hands often looked like yours - sometimes a bit worse. The only thing that has ever helped them was pretty potent steroid cream but... I recently went almost dairy free, and the difference was amazing. three days later I had zero symptoms. Then after one cup of tea with ‘real’ milk at work, my eczema flared within 3 hrs, quite substantially. I will admit it’s totally unscientific but it was certainly evidence enough for me to stick to oat milk in the future.

The doctor prescribed the anti fungal cream and it cleared up within a week. It was bliss after 3 years of pain, the reason I ended up going to the doctors was because I had my son and was doing nappies all day, which didn't go well with cracked bleeding hands!

I have had this - I used to frequently get dry hand, blisters which then cracked (on my ankles as well) - I used to call it my beer rash as I often for it after drinking lots of beer. I gave up gluten last year after being diagnosed with hashimotos (I hadn't made link to my skin issues at this point). Since then I have not had the rash at all. It might worth seeing if this is the issue.

@buttermilkwaffles Thanks so much for recommending the Mixa cream. I got it from Amazon and it has made a real difference.

I'm so pleased you're getting results. I used to get hideous eczema on mine and it was absolute misery. Everyone swears by something different. For me it was Fucidin steroid cream and Aveeno.

my son has been having eczema till recently and we have been using steroid creams and all sort of chemical creams. it never had any effect. Then I decided to stop using all the chemicals once and for all and instead tried to focus in healing his eczema from within. It is not a quick process ,we started in Octbober 2018, but now there is a huge improvement and that is all without any single application of steroid cream (they are horrible and should never be used). I even put together some tips as I wanted to our experience battling with my sons eczema ,hoping that it will help all the other people who are also suffering from this condition. Its all about eliminating irritants and having a correct skincare and bathing routine with all the natural products along the way !!!
please do watch my video and hope it will help you :
