to think that they have evolved their brand and are not as stupid as i thought? from saying and acting dumb just so they could make money to being consumate business women they are today, kylie launching a multi-million beauty business, kim's many businesses that she has been involved in and khloe's denim line. they arent that bad after all or are they?

I think that their fame says more about our (ours and American) society than it does about them. Not only do we get the leaders we deserve, it seems that we also get the celebrities we deserve.

I agree with you. They've been clever about how they do business, especially Kylie and Kim. Their use of social media is particularly impressive, for example collaborating with James Charles who is at the top of his game on YouTube - very clever considering if anyone is going to convince teenage girls to buy make up right now - it's him.

Fame & a 'brand' via a sex tape and for having a cartoon caricature body (the jury is still out on whether its butt implants) . Sad sign of the times. The 'model' daughter is quite pretty but would never have got near a catwalk without the Kardashian name. The real 'talent' is Kris Jenner & her 'Momager' ability to make a fast buck out of her family. Khloe is the only one who seems halfway normal & actuality has a personality. The others are robotically bland.

I admire different people for different reasons.. I’m saying they must have some talent to make that sort of coin when many others would aspire to even have a small fraction of the fortune they have.. so I would say they do have business talent.

Surely they’re old hat now aren’t they? Already past their peak fame and influence.

They made their money while they could, it’s not for me but nowt wrong with it.

To be honest I think the real talent in that family is Kris Jenner.

They are all good looking, hard working woman but I doubt they would be where they are without the skills of their mum!

Kim while ‘proving’ it’s not implants accidentally admitted in an interview years ago that her bum is natural in the sense that it is her fat... fat she had lipoed out of the rest of her body and injected into her bum, she had/has to have it topped up fairly regularly I think.

I believe Kyle and khloe have had the same procedure done.

They aren’t stupid at all - they are all very good businesswomen. Anyone who has ever believed them to to be stupid has just bought into a narrative that when women make money from their looks, it must be due to a lack of intellect.

What the Kardashians are, however, is racist, misogynistic and irresponsible. Their continued promotion of dangerous diet products to their fan base of, predominantly, young women is reprehensible, and all of them are guilty of exploiting black culture for financial gain without ever fairly crediting the originators, despite the fact that three of them are themselves mothers to mixed race children. From Kendall’s utterly tone-deaf Pepsi ad to Kim’s ‘Bo Derek’ braids, they repeatedly seek to profit from a culture they don’t understand and refuse to honour.

I really get annoyed when I see them being idolized by young women whilst having no talent at all, especially Kim for having made a lot of money after being in a porn tape, a disgusting example for females. However, you cannot deny that they have made so much money for absolutely nothing, so it shows what can be achieved too, but they are treated like crap by all the males in their lives.These men are awful to them, all seem to be there for the money and get a kick out of how badly they can treat these women/girls, very poor role models for their children, the Kardashians all crying about the way the men behave, don't care for their feelings, are disrespectful, cheat on them, party with other women etc. All the money in the world doesn't make the humiliation and hurt go away, they never seem to learn, just go from one idiot to another? The children are completely spoilt, no expense spare for gifts, clothing, parties , when other children in the world are starving it's immoral

I can’t stand them, they promote unethical products, they have all these followers, young naive girls who worship them and will buy anything they plug... so they decide to plug dangerous weight loss drinks and anti suppressant lollies??

They have a huge platform and could do so much good but they don’t. They just come across as vapid, selfish women. None of them are self made...famous for being famous. Is this what we want for the future?

I don't think they are really "businesswomen" or very bright themselves. Kim is famous for a sex tape and they're awful role models, having inspired millions of women to end up with botched, puffy faces.

The real business person is to an extent their mother and probably more so, whichever corporate entity or individual who is behind the scenes.

If you like vapid, self-obsessed, Trump supporters then, yeah, they're aspirational.

I think they've made a lot of money from not a lot of talent and for that, then yes they are very clever.

However, I don't think I could feel proud of money made off a sex tape, which is ultimately how their "fame" evolved. And I don't like how they are bringing DC into toxic relationships that are paraded as Instagram fodder.

I don't think any one of them are remotely likeable.

Have to say I love me a bit if KUWTK. I had never seen an episode until recently. I had not watched much TV over the past few years as i was taking my finals on top of working full time and being a parent etc... When I was finished my studies I was flicking around the TV and came across KUWTK. My dh had taken the kids off for the day and I watched episode after episode for the entire day. It is the most mind numbing, easiest show to watch, it didn't require once single brain cell to be active. I look back at that day with fondness.

They’re not savvy businesswomen. Their managers, PR, agents and lawyers are the savvy ones. They’re the ones who come up with ideas and negotiate the deals.
