to get a takeaway

I have food in the fridge but it all needs cooking and I started something but burned it so had to throw it away. I want to get a takeaway curry but as DH has pointed out I am lactose intolerant and the curries at the takeaway always leave me bloated for a week.

AIBU to still want one?

SihtricsHorseWitnere · 04/05/2019 18:33

Go for it!

MissMooMoo · 04/05/2019 18:35

Wondering the same as we have no food in.
DH said he would go to the supermarket and cook but he went to the pub after football 😡

Found something to feed toddler ds but nothing for myself

No, not if you're going to regret it for a week. It's not worth it. Is there another type of takeaway available?

John470322 · 04/05/2019 18:38

A take away is always a good option (a meal delivered is even better)

jaseyraex · 04/05/2019 18:39

Have just ordered burgers and loaded fries and shakes for us. YANBU to get takeaway but I'd choose something that won't leave you feeling rubbish for a while afterwards!

Bambamber · 04/05/2019 18:39

Could you not order a takeaway that's dairy free?

araiwa · 04/05/2019 18:40

Its ok to want one

Pretty silly to get one if it makes you ill for a week

sackrifice · 04/05/2019 18:42

Get a take out that is dairy free?

We are having take out tonight...our yearly foray...I have had to change my options as I can't have gluten. It's gonna be weird but I'm up for the challenge.

MillicentMartha · 04/05/2019 18:47

Chinese curry?

Leeds2 · 04/05/2019 19:02

Would something from the Chinese or Thai takeaway be any better? Thai can be quite spicy, if that is what you are craving.

PepsiLola · 04/05/2019 19:04

Get a tomato based curry?

Friedeggsandcustard · 04/05/2019 19:19

Alas there is no local thai and the chinese here is dire. DH has talked me out of it and is currently defrosting spag bol. Very jealous of anyone else having a curry tonight!
