Grabbed what I thought was my usual colour box dye and it’s copper! I’m going to a wedding tomorrow can I buy usual dark brown and redo it? Please help!!

Yes, but the only time I've used a reddish hair dye the red shows a bit for ages

You can over dye it or if its a Semi -P remove the colour with Vit C tablets crushed (powdered) into some ant dandruff shampoo .

Leave a couple of hours then rinse /condition well.

Mine was an ugly shade of plum , the Vit C took it back to brown

Can you rock it for a bit? I think copper hair looks ace but it fades quite quick so you could dye over it again in a few weeks?

I boxed dyed my hair a couple of times in a week (Blush) and it left it in bad condition for a while. Just a thought!

MotherOfDragons90 · 04/05/2019 16:21

And yes use head and shoulders in the mean time

Waveysnail · 04/05/2019 17:13

Got to have picture!

Unmanned · 04/05/2019 17:37

Wouldn’t like to subject you to picture 😂

Whilst it’s not too bad it’d clash terribly with my pink outfit 🤣 I’m also no spring chicken!

Bought another dye so wish me luck 🤞

Head and shoulders will strip it
Wash it a few times today.

DerbyRacer · 04/05/2019 17:41

It should be fine to do that. Good luck.

Just to say thank you! It’s toned the copper down to a nice colour and my hair seems to have survived 💐
