I think I’ve posted on a few this week...I’ve got nothing to do and I get sucked in.

I never get invested so whether they turn out to be true or not doesn’t usually matter to me except on principle, depending on subject matter..

I especially enjoyed the fish threads this week. I think there's a lot of fiction on here anyway so I don't mind if it's just a bit more extreme

I see the one about the woman saying DH had betrayed her has gone. DH had got a puppy and she was saying it was going to cost so much to look after that the family couldn't have a holiday this year. Grooming was costing £90 a time, three times a month!

The biggest eye roll is when you get sucked into it until someone points out that you are being had. Some are very funny/clever though.

There are so many I suspect that I feel it's impossible to report them all.

Also you can't really report some of them because yeah technically it could be that your MIL has moved in with you while you were at the shops and stole your children and then took them ballooning without a car seat. SO Mn will just check they aren't a PBP and leave it.

I’m usually pretty good at sniffing them out, but sometimes I just don’t pay attention or I can’t be bothered to care.

I am able to appreciate a funny or witty troll, though. On the other hand most efforts are just poor, and then of course there are the really horrible ones which do make you think that person must be properly disturbed to enjoy writing shit like that and feasting on people”s emotional responses.

Also I’ve come across some seriously dysfunctional and weird people and situations in my life (thankfully not directly involved), so I do usually give people the benefit of the doubt no matter how outlandish or unfathomable the behaviour they are describing. There are a lot of messed up people in the world, sadly. So I’ll always err on the side that the OP really may need help.
