Internal interview response time

I applied for a position in my company internal job. It's been over 2 months and I have not heard anything back.
When I did the interview they told me that they'd definitively be in touch one way or another and not to ring them, in fairness all the other internal interviews I've done in the company I've always got some response whether it was an offer or decline.
I'm currently on maternity leave so feeling a bit out of the loop as there has been a lot of changes since I went although I'm due back soon.
Either way I don't mind but I find myself constantly refreshing my company mails from 9am to 6pm and also doesn't help my husband has decided I didn't get it due to the time 😫

You would know if you had the job. Go to HR and double check.

Ok so quick update according to another colleague emails were sent out informing successful candidates and unsuccessful candidates a few weeks ago. I have definitely not got any email.
More than likely I probably haven't got the position as a letter would have followed in the post.
AIBU to tell them I'm disappointed in not receiving a response. I was assured I'd be treated the same as any other colleague and my maternity leave didn't come into it.
