I know, I know!!! Of course IABU but the water came right to the top and I panicked!!!! She called me in, I saw the mess and ran around looking for a coat hanger, but spotted the ruler.... after thrusting it several times into the depth, the contents (although mainly the ridiculous amount of toilet paper a child uses...) I of course took it straight outside to the bin....

She's fuming...... can anyone beat that and make me feel any better???

You should have held her upside down plunger style, it's the only way they learn.

the best bog unblockers are the coat hangers from the dry cleaners - marvelous at getting through child size bog rollbergs. rulers dont bend! Grin but of course, in an emergancy, better than nothing.

Very unreasonable - every home should have a 'poo-stick' stuck in the ground behind a bush, just outside the front door.

Not sure how people in flats manage.

I think that perhaps the low point is when I threw it out the bathroom window which is at the front of the house - just as all the kids were walking by to school...

Honestly - she's fuming at the shame...
