How can I get my parcel!?

Fucking Hermes isn't it! every single parcel I have had from boohoo the idiot always leaves it next to the bin EVERY TIME so last night realising most of my clothes are getting tight (pregnant) I order for next day delivery knowing she either delivers late (7pm) or leaves it next to the bin!! The 1 day I go out for the morning she delivers it at 10AM!!! Fine I thought as she leaves it next to the bin or posts it..... no the idiot has decided not to this time 😡 nothing to wear and going away tomorrow... and obviously she didn't bother to leave her number on the slip or her name because that would mean having to be helpful 😭

cant find a number for Hermes to actually speak to a human, can anyone help!?

I don’t think you can actually blame Hermes for the fact that you weren’t in when you were supposed to be, but it’s very annoying that you can’t contact them. Is there a number on your confirmation email you can try?

foreverhanging · 02/05/2019 13:17

God I hate Hermes they are the worst

foreverhanging · 02/05/2019 13:20

They had an online chat thing the last time I found their website but don't ask me where because their website was honestly like a black hole

ZeroFuchsGiven · 02/05/2019 13:21

0330 333 6556.

Otterses · 02/05/2019 13:26

Hermes are utter bastards.

I'm currently raging at them for losing a parcel again - they're 'investigating' as we speak Hmm I move Monday, arranged the courier four weeks ago, and they refuse to change my delivery address if they find it. So if located it'll be delivered to an empty house.

No idea how they're still going to be honest. I really hope you get the parcel before tomorrow 🤞

BigusBumus · 02/05/2019 13:29

Our Hermes lady is lovely. She ALWAYS leaves it somewhere tucked away.

Geminijes · 02/05/2019 13:32

In this case Hermes haven't done anything wrong. They tried to deliver a parcel but you were not home so they will attempt delivery another time, probably tomorrow. That's what most courier companies do.

Laffinalltheway · 02/05/2019 13:47

Hermes are shite, but Yodel are defo the worst of the worst!

twitterbird · 02/05/2019 13:48

I love our Hermes guy, always leaves a number and practically stalks you until a parcel is safely delivered! Sorry though OP that is annoying

WeeDangerousSpike · 02/05/2019 13:50

Trouble with hermes is they're just independent people with vans/cars.

Our local fb page is full of people asking for the driver's number to try and find out which random hedge their parcel has been lobbed over - do you have a local neighbourhood page you can post on?

ABoozedMoose · 02/05/2019 14:02

You ordered something for next day delivery and then went out.

I hate Hermes but this one is your own fault.

Fiveredbricks · 02/05/2019 14:05

Why the fuck did you go out when you were expecting it? Or why didn't you get it delivered to a collect+ or pickup location?

Your own silly fault OP tbh.

Grumpos · 02/05/2019 14:06

Hermes are the worst, I do click and collect on pretty much everything now unless it absolutely cannot be avoided.
Second the “local Facebook page”, there’s daily posts on my local one! Everyone trying to track down elusive delivery drivers Confused

Nicknacky · 02/05/2019 14:08

Why is this Hermes fault?

Kingslayer · 02/05/2019 14:09

Well... Dont order clothes 24hours before you go away and then LEAVE THE HOUSE when they are due to be delivered!
I dont think it's the the hermes driver who's the idiot in this scenario...

Doje · 02/05/2019 14:10

OP, the liklihood is that they will try and deliver again today.

But as a PP said - do you have a local FB page you could post on? Our (very good - sorry, not helpful to you!) Hermes man keeps an eye on that, and also other people on there have his number if it's needed by anyone.

Bambamber · 02/05/2019 14:11

You want to talk about being helpful? Being in when you're expecting a delivery is a good start

neveradullmoment99 · 02/05/2019 14:20

They are a nightmare. I was trying to return an exercise bike and although they were meant to come, they did not turn up. It took 3 attempts to get them to pick up my bike!

HJWT · 02/05/2019 14:49

@Kingslayer ermmm Hermes have an option to leave in a 'safe place' for e.g my back garden which is what I asked for when it said 10am🙄
