I always assume everyone is older than me on here but that's almost certainly not the case.

So, how old are you?

I'm 33.

I'm 35 and never quite remember how old I am. Saw a theatre poster on the tube and was telling my husband that the last time I saw Joseph and the Technicoloured dreamcoat was 20 odd years ago.

It was 30. 30 years ago 😱

Isthebigwomanhere · 02/05/2019 11:41

Although my official age today is dead as I had a personal training this morning

TattiePants · 02/05/2019 11:48

44 although I've spent a significant chunk of the year thinking I was 45!

WeepingWillowWeepingWino · 02/05/2019 11:48

47

I don't like '7' birthdays - you've sailed past 'mid' and are firmly heading to 'late'.

27 was awful. 30 was great!

bakebakebake · 02/05/2019 11:50

(Please slightly older ladies, do not go on about how good your legs are, even if it’s true, and fgs don’t have one too many and demonstrate them.

My ancient grandmother, who was probably the age I am now, would have one too many, raise her dress above her knees and crow about how good she was for her age.

The shame ..... can still feel it when I remember it now Grin

DianaPrincessOfThemyscira · 02/05/2019 11:54

I look forward to seeing your bar charts OP Grin

EstuaryBird, I’m glad you’re here. I, too, go to gigs but I’m not keen on festivals. Picky about my music.

barryfromclareisfit · 02/05/2019 11:58

Langrish, you’ll be delighted to hear that my entire body is in derelict condition.

floraloctopus · 02/05/2019 11:59

Old enough to know who all the people are on the obituaries page and young enough to think I've got ages yet. Older than most as I frequently think 'who?' when you youngsters are discussing celebrities.

chocolateoranges · 02/05/2019 12:01

33 on Saturday

scarbados · 02/05/2019 12:01

I'm a 67 year old gran who likes to read MN to see what younger people think of some of the stuff I see going on around me.

Example - I was reading on another forum that it's normal for couples to check each others phones all the time because 'if you're in a relationship you shouldn't have secrets or expect privacy'. I was flamed with a vengeance for suggesting that such a lack of trust means there are problems with the relationship. So I turned to MN and asked for opinions (and was heartened to read that the vast majority of responses agreed with my viewpoint!)

I've also had a life of ups and downs - been divorced then widowed before this lovely marriage, suffered DV from an alcoholic partner and worked in child protection as well as being a retired midwife. I (probably arrogantly) like to think I can sometimes offer advice.
