Just that really! I fancied doing a bit of CPD and did a free L2 certificate in the principles of team leading online with Bridgewater and Taunton College. I thought it was really interesting and can't be a bad thing to do as I am looking to go back to work now the kids are older.

Finished that one and looking to do something else now. Just wondering what is out there that might help with getting back in to work.

Following because I'm sick to death of the OU.

ExhaustedGrinch · 30/04/2019 21:07

Hopeygoflightly · 30/04/2019 22:16

Future Learn have some fantastic short courses. Did a little on on screen writing from UEA... really good.

Surreynewbie · 30/04/2019 22:18

Have you looked at EdX?

Pollaidh · 30/04/2019 22:18

Future Learn too.

I've done the UEA screenwriting, was excellent, and have also done courses related to my profession, which are in partnership with my government department.

I love future learn!

The specifics of your post and the way it’s written reads like an ad 😂

Londonmummy66 · 30/04/2019 23:27

Paleography from Cambridge University - a bit eclectic but got the grey matter going....

Bonbonchance · 30/04/2019 23:33

Futurelearn! Done quite a few now, mostly just for interest but some CPD type ones. They’re still free but more limited time scale (before you had forever really)

Worsethingshappenatsea · 30/04/2019 23:43

Ive done a couple of courses with vision2learn which I really enjoyed

floraloctopus · 30/04/2019 23:54

placemarking, some great suggestions , I'm stuck for choice.

I knob this is an old thread but does anyone know of any online funded courses for Wales?

I looked at The Skills Network and found a great one which was funded then realised it was only for England!

I've tried to find a Welsh one but my brain is galloping away and I'm getting myself all in a tizz Wink

I did an online course with new skills academy but it was in make up. Not really taught me much and now I’m a ‘qualified’ MUA I don’t even qualify for any discount from brands as the course was 36 hours and you need like a minimum of 40 to get discounts.

Not really useful but I wouldn’t recommend going with them.
