To think the commnetator's accent in the Devon and Cornwall programme

I gave up on the series after the second episode because of her accent - the woman is Bristolian so her fake hybrid Cornish/Devonian accent is even more odd!!

We were in Cornwall a week before Easter. It was all over the local news there at how dire the accent was. I'm not Cornish but it was like nothing I have ever heard. A soft clear enunciated voice with no strong accent, but dropping h's everywhere.

I don't understand why after episode 2 they didn't hurriedly re-record all the voice overs.

It reminded me of the voiceovers on Eurotrash

I was gritting my teeth all the way through, but kept watching as the market garden in Cornwall is close to my house, and as I currently live in Belgium, I got to see bits of home.

Great programme but I'm so glad it wasn't just me that wondered about the ridiculous accent
