I'm looking into this too. If anyone has a Dyson 10, is it true that long hair doesn't get wrapped round the head? If so this is a gamechanger and potentially tempted. However it's so expensive, especially compared to the shark. The shark also felt a bit awkward and unwieldy when I looked at it in Currys, although it wasn't charged so didn't get a fair test.

The irobot Roomba. I should b on commission for them. I tell all and sundry how amazing it is. Im quite evangelical about it. I dont think people how good they are for disabled people too

An American acquaintance of mine thought his was wonderful until his dog had an accident while he was out. He made a YouTube video of the aftermath.

We have a Dyson cordless. Takes about a year to charge and lasts ten minutes. It's been replaced by a Makita LXT battery vac. Lasts 30 minutes and charges in 15. Cost £33.

I have the Dyson v8 and it’s brill. I only have a small flat with hardwood floors though

Love my Dyson cordless. Use it every day but also have a bigger Dyson for a proper clean.
I've always emptied any bagless cleaner I've had after every use. The Dysons are no different except you have to wash the filters monthly. Easily done.
