To be excited about visiting a fabric shop!?

Any Berkshire quilters or yarnies, Lady Sew and Sew is open today. AIBU excited that I'm going there, and this time I'm taking my credit card? Grin It's been years since I last did this.

Visiting LS&S is like being in the best sweet shop ever! Just £s instead of calories Grin

Ooh. Really envious. Am nowhere near Berkshire but I love a visit to a fabric/ craft shop. I'd far rather spend on buttons, ribbons and gorgeous material than on clothes, shoes or chocolate. Have fun!

I don't even sew but I love a good old visit to a fabric shop, I love the smell of the rolls of fabric and all the tiny buttons :)

I would love this - I love a fat quarter

Buying fabric and sewing fabric are two separate hobbies. I love fabric but can't and don't really want to sew for toffee. Have a lovely spend!

Totally reasonable to being excited! Not being reasonable to take your credit card, if you’re like me you’ll bankrupt yourself Grin

I have a really cheap cloth shop near me, it’s ace, but I have to go with a clear purpose or I just end up adding to my pile at home as I have no self control! Especially if they have some Rose & Hubble in.

YANBU, a fabric shop is a gorgeous treasure trove!

I went the last time the warehouse was open a couple of weeks ago. It’s a lovely shop. I limit myself to a visit every couple of months.

These are absolutely true. Which is why I try not to go there! Last time I went was for the quilting exhibition a year ago, and I made sure to leave my 'plastics' wallet at home.

Look at these beauties, front and back of the same quilt. Just seeing and touching them in real life is a joy. I will never make anything nearly as stunning, but I can dream in such a shop...
