to ask what you call your grandparents?

I've heard:

Papa
Grandma
Grandad
Pops
Grammie
Nanny
Nana
Nan
Etc etc

I call mine grandma. I don't have grandfathers unfortunately.

What do you/your kids/grandkids use?

Nan and grandad!

I called mine nana and granddad and my kids did the same but my dsds call theirs granny and granddad which,for me,causes no end of confusion!lol we have an understanding that if I say mamma they are to pull me up on it and say granny instead

Gran and Grandad; only got one set

Grandma and granddad. Nana is very popular where I'm from but we were always told it was common. Which is hilarious if you knew my mum.

I lost my lovely nanna at 17, 29 years ago. Gutting.
I lost my horrid gdad in 2005.
The other gdad in 1984 nutty nan in 1989.

I get envious of those who have lovely g.parents.

Nanna and ‘Bumper’ here. Never known any different, it’s a legacy from generations before... I don’t know the origin. I do get strange looks when I say it out loud

I'm very lucky, almost 30 and still have all 4.

I've got a grandma and grandad (dad's side) and a nan and grandad (mum's side)

My mum had asked that she be known as meemaw when my DC arrives in July... I just know the birthday cards are going to be a nightmare to find 😂

I really only had a granny growing up. She re-married when i was in my teens but i just called her husband by his first name. I only met my paternal grandad once before he died.

Both my maternal grandad and paternal grandmother died before i was born.

My kids have a granny & grandad and a nana (& grandad who sadly died a few years ago).

I had Grannie and Grandfather and Granda and Gran.

My kids called my Mum Grannie and call my Dad Granda. Late ILs are called Grannie (name) and Pops.
