To think Emilia Clarke is bloody amazing?

I’ve only just heard about this - Emilia Clarke (Dany from Game of Thrones) has had two sub-arachnoid haemorrhages since completing GoT season 1, has kept it all under wraps until last month, and has somehow managed to keep going through it all.

A friend was severely disabled by an SAH in her early 20s, and passed away a few years later from another, so I appreciate that Clarke was fortunate to have access to such high quality and swift medical care etc, but I can’t imagine how she’s coped with demanding shooting schedules, rehearsals, travel, press tours etc while dealing with all this. She is absolutely amazing.

She's amazing, more power to her! 🐉

Just incredible. I’ve always thought she seemed sweet and humble - I guess this would keep you pretty grounded. So impressed with her strength, which is apt given her role. I remember reading an interview with one of the actors who said she’s just so lovely to all the crew and even when the shoots are really hard going, everyone cheers up when she arrives on set. Even more remarkable given what she was dealing with at the time.

I really hope things don’t deteriorate for her. I saw lots of criticism about her role / plot lines in GoT S2, and now I wonder how much of that was them having to keep her work to a minimum so she could get through it.

All the more reason why she should sit on the iron throne and rule over the seven kingdoms Smile
