In the spirit of the recent threads about this kind of thing - what wierd behaviour we got up to as kids and what wierd stuff we do as adults ...

My DD is nearly 4 years old and has done some brilliantly bizarre things, some of which are ....

  • eating chalk, all the time. If I had it, she’d steal it and eat it.
  • lines up all her small toys taking preference over the kinder egg style toys, always in perfect lines. She also does this with her teddies, dollies and anything that will fit into a ‘category’ that she has decided on.
  • she goes up to the top of the garden when I am out there and sings pop punk songs (we listen to in the car as per her request) at the top of her lungs. She thinks the trees up there hide her from view, they do not.
  • she is like a borrower, forever finding things she has scurried away in her bedroom.
  • we live on one floor, so she is obsessed with stairs, including taking the wooden ones out of her dolls house - I presume she thinks they are unnecessary

I’m sure there’s a few more!

So what wierd stuff does your kid get up to ?!

Bloody hell where do I start?!

He will lick everything given the chance, and I mean everything.

My friend is sometimes on TV which he noticed a while ago, if said friend isn’t on the TV he will throw a huge tantrum. Sometimes popping a youtube of him on is easier!

He pretends he is an adult when we’re out and about, for example on the bus, he puts this funny voice on and sits a certain way.

One of them is currently making a snowman out of their scrambled egg and the other asks every morning if it's Halloween yet. He was devastated this morning because he'd dressed himself as a skeleton in the hope that would change things in his favour.

@simonJT

My kid also went through a ‘licky’ Stage 🙈 hahaha
Ahh so sweet that your friends has a devout fan though!

@tor8181

I used to love hanging upside down as a kid - I feel this is one I am going to relive through my DD !

@lasttobepickedatgames

Your kids are my people 🙌🏼 Ever thought of throwing a faux Halloween ?

My 4YO currently has a thing about only wearing long sleeved tops and full length trousers. Just in time for summer. Hmm

6YO cannot stand the smell of certain flavours of crisps and will refuse to sit in the same room as someone eating cheese and onion.
