So a woman I like is on my Facebook.
So I was scrolling through pics and somehow ended up at 2009.
I've somehow mananged to share it onto my Facebook page.
My phone froze and I don't even know how I did it.
Anyway is she gonna think I'm nuts now?
She's gonna know I was looking at past pics
Also think I accidentally liked a picture too Blush

Delete the shared photo.
Go into privacy settings and click on activity log and it will take you to the one you liked so you can unlike it. This is easier from the mobile site.

incyspidert · 24/04/2019 14:34

I've managed to delete the shared pic but it took me a few mins after my phone froze.
She was online so will have got the notification :-(

OP posts:
Moonbea · 24/04/2019 14:44

She might not have been online. Facebook is good at saying people are online when they haven't been for an hour, cause Facebook can still be running in the background on phones and tablets etc

Halloumimuffin · 24/04/2019 14:47

If you're generally nice and not weird I'd be able to laugh that off. Facebook creeping isn't unusual and if anything I'd feel sorry for the obviously mortified person who accidentally liked my photo. That's me though!

PlainSpeakingStraightTalking · 24/04/2019 14:49

You'll find out when she blocks and deletes you Grin

incyspidert · 24/04/2019 14:53

Ahhhh I'm such a fool.

OP posts:
sockatoe · 24/04/2019 14:59

That's what happens when you don't lock your phone when you put it in your pocket mid Facebook.....Hmm

InsertFunnyUsername · 24/04/2019 15:57

Oh dear very awkward.

I had someone tag themselves in one of my first profile pictures, about 6/7 years old. They said they didnt know how it happened they were just browsing bla bla.

I knew they were snooping, he knew i knew he was snooping was very awkward 😂 but didn't make me think creep, just having a nose like most people!

WatchingTheWheels85 · 24/04/2019 15:59

I'm sorry op but that's so funny Grin

Keepthebloodynoisedown · 24/04/2019 16:17

Any young kids to blame it on?
Wouldn’t worry too much, it happens to the best of us.

incyspidert · 24/04/2019 16:27

None that can get on Facebook ha ha
Do you think most people snoop?
Oh well at least I didn't tell her I fancy her 🤣

OP posts:
Drum2018 · 24/04/2019 16:33

Forget about it. If she ever mentions it deny it Grin

LumpyPillow · 24/04/2019 16:38

I can feel that hot, rising fear you get when you do something like that. Sheer terror and panic. 😂Everyone facebook stalks, dont worry. Just say phone in pocket. My dad actually has done stuff like this (in his 70s) and he hasn't got the foggiest how he's done it and genuinely wasn't stalking anyone. 😂😂

ThatssomebadhatHarry · 24/04/2019 16:40

A friend of mine set up a Facebook page to keep in touch with a travelling friend. She added a bunch of friends via emails but she decided (of course) to search for her old boyfriend, just to see..except she typed his name into the post part thinking it was the search bar and didn’t realise. So her first post was her ex’s name and she left it there for ages.

Thatsashame · 24/04/2019 16:40

Snooping...? Eh? Its facebook not a orivate collectioj of photos. It was an honest mistake and im sure they will think that. People put pjotos on publicly for people to look at. Thats kind of the point.

outpinked · 24/04/2019 16:43

I accidentally tagged myself in someone’s photo once whilst snooping. I was completely mortified, it’s far too easy to do on FB. I ended up blocking them in shame Grin.

Patroclus · 24/04/2019 16:56

I'd just be honest at this point. Everybdy secretl does this on facebook.

OneStepSideways · 24/04/2019 18:27

Message her and apologise, say your friend's toddler got hold of your phone!

Thingsdogetbetter · 24/04/2019 18:36

Update your fb with a "anyone else's fb doing strange things. Mine keeps uploading random pics of friends. Think I've deleted them all. Don't ya luv technology lol".

Always blame a computer glitch!

cheeseypizza · 24/04/2019 18:46

Just laugh if off. Just tell her "ooops was having a snoop when phone decided to freeze...". If anything it will be an ice breaker. And she will probably like your confidence at being able to laugh.

MadamMMA · 24/04/2019 19:11

I know someone who typed the name of the person they wanted to stalk as their status instead of the search bar Grin

LumpyPillow · 24/04/2019 19:55

@ThatssomebadhatHarry

Oh god that really made me laugh. The poor woman! 😂

Sizeofalentil · 24/04/2019 20:11

My toddler dd genuinely tagged me in to our office junior's first ever fb profile picture from 8 years ago when playing with my phone

MadCatLadee · 24/04/2019 21:30

I accidentally added a laughing emoji to a FB post which said that someone had just died. And I could not delete it. I have no idea how I managed it. Mortifying.

MyHairNeedsASnip · 24/04/2019 21:51

I proper just belly laughed at the OP. I'm sorry, but that really really cheered up a shitty day for me Grin
