To ask for a discount?

I'm looking at buying a super king size bed from Dreams Beds. It's likely to cost around £2k and the salesman has said he'll include a free duvet (worth about £60).

WIBU to ask for money off as well, or also free bed sheets and a mattress topper as well? I bought my last bed online. King size for about £400. Admittedly I'm sure the quality is nowhere near as good as one from Dreams will be, but £2k is an awful lot of money!!

Does anyone have any experience of getting additional discounts from Dreams that aren't part of a standard sale etc please? Or any useful negotiation tactics please?

And I'm well aware that this is a first world problem and there are people who can't afford food etc, but I spend literally 12 hours out of every 24 in my bed for health reasons and haven't had a decent nights sleep in at least 2 years and am hoping that a really good quality bed will help!

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

You can always ask, no harm in trying, but don’t be disappointed if you don’t get one.
