Hi everyone,
I am applying to graduate entry medicine as a mature student this year, doing loads of work experience and entry exam prep.
I got a slightly lower degree classification than most places ask for due to illness so am also applying to Public Health MSc courses in case I don't get in this year as this will make me eligible to apply to several more universities once complete.
Just hoping for some advice on the MSc application please.
Should I mention the reason I am interested is because it is a course related to medicine which I want to study eventually, or just focus the application on being interested in public health policy (which would be a slight sidestep from my current role and undergrad degree but not wholly unrelated, and it's what I would likely do if I don't get into medicine)?
I'm thinking to tailor the application to this course rather than mention lots about future studies in medicine, which my dad agrees with (he's a retired academic from a different subject).
Just wondered if anyone thought differently!
Many thanks.
