AIBU to ask landlady do to fix toilet?

I know that a landlady is in theory responsible for the upkeep of everything in the house, but I feel daft asking her come and fix the toilet (hissing/slow filling) I am not DIY savvy and DH says its landlady’s responsibility and if we try to fix it and break it then we’ll be liable to fix it. Last time I had a plumbing issue and told her, the plumber came out and fixed it very easily and quickly and made a comment I could/should have it that myself as it was ‘simple enough’ so I’m hesitant to call her?

Google is your friend.

You may have low water pressure, so there’s be nothing a plumber could do as that’s a supply issue.

Or most likely just a valve that needs adjusting.

You tube will show you the way.

It may be a 2 min job, which would be a call out charge of usually at least £50

If it were your own home would you try to fix it first?

Not always. What does your tenancy agreement say?
