I complained to a neighbour about her dogs barking and uncleared up excrement which was stinking. I got a lot of verbal back. She rents so I contacted landlord about the situation. This morning at 10.30am I get a visit from the police, she has made false accusations about me being threatening and abusive and her friend has backed this up. In no way was I ever threatening or abusive, I have declined a warning so now the matter is reported to the procurator fiscal, Scotland.

Has any one experienced this can you give me advice. I am a 64 year old woman who lives by themselves.

I'd try to get an appointment with a solicitor who offers a free first appointment and just tell them/show them what you've written here.

Or possibly citizens advice bureau.

Thank you for your reply, i just feel it’s shocking hat people can fix a crime on you because of a justifiable complaint.
