To feel like a fraud

So, ended up in triage with reduced movements this eve. Had been worried all day, tried all the usual tricks, and nothing. As soon as i got on the bed, she started having a party.

I know its better to be safe then sorry, but feel like a bit of a fraud and like ive wasted their time.

Nooo this happened to me all the time!

Turned out my instincts were right anyway and I had an emergency section but every time I’d go for reduced movements I counted loadss and they always sent me away, soon as I would get home there would be a party in there.

Make sure you always go even if it’s just for reassurance, and it’s fantastic that LO goes nuts on their own time too just enjoy it!

You are not a fraud, it genuinely could have been a problem. Keep looking after yourself

They was very busy, sounded like one lady hasdnt made it from triage to the delivary suite!!

Although very good, I did feel like they was rolling their eyes at me. Have really over done it this weekend, so think she was just catching up on some sleep..... which is my plan for today

Midwives always used to say to me that they would rather women go in each time and there be no problem, rather than not go in and it be that time there is a problem
