Anyone have any knowledge on what I can do regards to my periods? It's driving me mad so for example my cycle is around 30 days, so from cycle day 1 I'm pants until cycle day 6-18 I'm brilliant very happy loving life etc all the cheesy stuff,
but cycle day 18-6 I'm shit I hate being around people, I struggle with anxiety and being irritable not really physical symptoms more mental. I take vitamin b6, 50mgs of 5HTP, and now a woman's tablet thing and Vitamin D3.
I've been looking at my cycles in depth for a whilst and i seem to be ok with the oestrogen before I ovulate but soon as I ovulate and progesterone kicks in I'm off with PMS symptoms. My aibu is to ask

Posted to soon sorry, but my Aibu is to ask because I'm okay until ovulation kicks in would you say I'm more sensitive to progesterone rising as I'm fine before ovulation where oestrogen is just rising? Does this even make sense ffs. Sorry it's so long just hating having 10+shit days a month
What else can I try or do? Thank you

Cut out as much sugar and diary as you can. All if you can. I can't but it helped massively when I did.

If you're not TTC consider the coil. I haven't had a period for 18 months now

@whatsnewchoochoo I'll try that cause I'm getting desperate now x

Have you seen your GP about this or are you self-diagnosing and buying otc remedies? I ask because I will try anything rather than see a GP but when I have, my problem has been fairly rapidly diagnosed and treated.

@RosamundDarnley Hi I've seen the doctor but she wasn't that good and just referred me for cbt for my anxiety which has worked wonders, but it's the after ovulation pms I'm suffering with I feel so low right now I'm willing to try anything.
