I'm having my parents over for Easter Sunday lunch. Just relaxed at home on Easter Friday and it's a choice between relaxing on Easter Monday or travelling for 2 hours to Mils house for dinner. What do you do for Easter? Do you have any traditions? Do you spend it with your family/ inlaws and if so what day is the family meal? Happy Easter

Maundy Thursday Chrism Mass in evening.
Good Friday beach walk with friends and any children that were home. Then Mass at 3pm. Simple supper of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs because we fast.
Holy Saturday we’re visiting daughter and fiancé but staying in a hotel nearby as there are too many of us to sleep at her house. Hot cross buns. Lovely walk and river swim before a simple barbecue this evening.
Easter Day, tomorrow, Mass then drop one boyfriend to station. Chocolate.
Supper with friends coming over. Roast lamb and was going to be full roast but am swapping to salads as it’s too hot for a full roast. Wine and more chocolate.

I always bake around Easter, usually a full cake and a batch of cupcakes on the Friday.

On the Saturday when the weather is good it’s usually a BBQ. Today we went to the zoo.

We then have a roast and eat Easter eggs on Sunday.

Monday will be spent watching films and polishing off the rest of the chocolate.
