And has it changed as you've gotten older?
I was a half a cider/alcopop girl in my teens and early twenties I love very dry potent Sauvignon Blanc these days (hence my user name) with the occasional v&t or g&t

I used to drink Jack Daniels when younger but now mainly a rum drinker but it has to be dark rum.

Also partial to a cocktail when the mood takes me and happy to make my own

New Zealand Sauvignon blanc or gin and tonic

Teens - alcopops or cider and black, if trying to be sophisticated then Pernod and black
Twenties - cider, corona or wine
Thirties - red wine (Californian Pinot noir)
Forties - g&t, mojito, Prosecco, wine

Alcopops and cider as a teen/in my twenties...

Very much a champagne or white wine (wooded Chardonnay my favourite) fan now...

I still love Baileys or Amarula and sambuca is my shot of choice...

Teens - anything I could get my hands on. MD 20/20 was my favorite
20s - Vodka
30s - Vodka/Jack Daniels/Pinot Grigio
40s - Prosecco

I've always enjoyed a cocktail

Teens/early 20's vodka and cranberry juice or a 'long' vodka.
Past fifteen years it's either wine with a meal, Sauvignon Blanc or Malbec or a g&t.

At home its usually a Sauvignon Blanc or a white Zinfandel. Out as in the local pub or a family party it's either southern comfort or vodka both with lime & lemonade. On holiday or out for cocktails it's a margarita or 5

I’ve always been a Gin bunny, even before it was trendy. Never had Vodka.

Red Wine generally these days, gin or vodka and tonic occasionally. Prosecco - Christmas and for celebration
Raki occasionally - on holiday in Turkey - never drink it at home (I do enjoy it and it impresses the locals)
Cocktails - watching the sun go down

Beer. I love the stuff. English cask ales, Czech pilsner, American IPA, Belgian trappist, Bavarian weissbier, I enjoy all of them. The choice of beers available to today’s thirsty drinker is the best has ever been .

in my 20''s - gin and orange squash!!
in my 30''s - naice white wine
in my 40''s - gin and tonic, white wine or mojito's
in my 50''s - prosecco, brockmans or bathtub gin and tonic. or a home made margherita.
or a pint of cider in the pub with my grown up sons looking over the beach in St Andrews 🍺

Pernod, Black and lemonade goes down nicely.
Or an exceptionally dry white wine, ice cold.

As a young teen...cider , then half a lager or malibu and diet coke, discovered chardonnay aged 17 and then rose at uni..continued with rose until around 20/21 then back to a nice creamy chardonnay. I do enjoy a gin and slim and the occasional prosecco but im definitely a dry white wine girl!

Early 20's - any wine I could get my hands on

Late 20's - Gewürztraminer wine

Early 30's - Gewürztraminer and Riesling wine, G& T,

Late 30's- still on Riesling and a good Dornfelder

Good old dash of rum whenever I visit my parents since leaving for uni. That probably won't ever change.

Wine

Tweens - archers and lemonade. Blurgh!!
Now- G + T, or a cold lager on a hot day

Gin and tonic, prosecco or rosé these days. In my late teens it was alcopops or Archers and lemonade, sometimes a white wine and lemonade. Early/mid 20's it was vodka and cranberry or orange (gin made me emotional!), late 20's it was all about the rosé and into my 30's I started to explore gin and appreciate prosecco and champagne.

Lager in my early 20s
Now I like to drink Southern Comfort and lemonade/ Captain Morgans spiced rum and coke/ red wine/ lager/ fruity cider (particularly a fan of mango cider)

Teens vodka and orange
Early 20s vodka and coke
Late 20s white wine
30s+ red wine (Malbec or Rioja) bottled lager and gin

Late teens pints of fosters, twenties any white wines, now vodka and coke or lemonade

Sancerre or Prosecco.
Usually Sauvignon.
I was always a white wine drinker.
Didn't drink much when young and now rarely too.

Strongbow or cheap and cheerful big bottle cider as a teen!
Rum and cokes, or a bottle of red
Now I'm utterly cliché: gin and tonic, gin and lemonade or a rosé!

I normally have an IPA.
if I'm driving I'll just have a lime and soda.
Occasionally I may have a drop of Talisker

Oh I forget to say if my taste had changed.
It used to be mainly lager until about 20 years ago!

Quite a lot of cheap wine when young
30s to 40s - g&t, or malt whisky in the winter
Now -- champagne any time of year
Before a naice restaurant lunch -- a proper Martini with Beefeater gin, dry vermouth, twist of lemon.
Plus Aperol spritz in the summer.
I don't drink much at all those days, honest!
