I'm fairly sure my engagement ring has been delivered in the post today... it's an unbranded box but it's got a postal label on it with "antique diamond ring" and some value details on it.

DP was doing the gardening so I signed for it and have put it in the hallway as I normally would. He doesn't seem to have noticed the label. Do I say something?

(I'm fairly sure it's for me Grin)

My DH had the box down his sock on holiday one night! I had no idea until he reached down for it! Good luck OP and hope it's all lovely and exciting. Great when you know you've got a good man!

I was looking for a document and unfortunately stumbled upon the receipt for my engagement ring before he proposed. He still doesn't know I found it 16 years later.

I'd love a proposal like yours OP. When I got engaged to my exh we decided to do it and bought the ring together. After my divorce 13 years ago I swore I'd never marry again until I met my BF two years ago. I'd marry him in a heartbeat and I'd love a romantic surprise proposal.

I can't wait for your update OP and am also shamelessly placemarking. Hope your holiday is amazing.
