Help for managing insect phobia

It’s not me it’s my DC and it is so bad in summer it is getting worse

DD16 screamed last night around 12 having been confronted by a very large bathroom spider when she went to the loo

DD14 has always had it the worst and just came to tell me she didn’t sleep very much as her window was slightly open yesterday as it was very warm upstairs and all she could think about was insects that had got in. I’ve got fans so can use them not windows but this also extends to her not really being able to sit outside because of her ultimate fear - FLYING INSECTS

I do not love wasps but I don’t scream. I also don’t like big spiders but I will cover them over with a cup and chuck them out (and ignore smaller less creepy hairy looking ones). DD can’t handle moths, flies, ants or beetles. She’s always on alert looking for them. And she hasn’t grown out of it it’s got worse

We have a cat who will chase and kill flying things then leave their little dead bodies on the floor for you tread on Envy. I also have citronella products everywhere but is there anything else which is useful to help keep them away? Also at what point is a phobia bad enough to get some help? When she was 4 she knelt on a wasp indoors on the carpet and got stung. That is the main bad experience she has had

I don’t want her to be living indoors with all windows closed her whole life

Any phobia advice is useful!
