I'm in a new relationship and the other night I had a dream about my ex, i can't remember much about the dream but just before I woke up I was arguing with him then I woke saying his name (well more like shouting) BF was next to me awake so he heard. I used to talk in my sleep as a child sometimes and wake up shouting something but I haven't done it in many years and this was just the perfect moment... he said it was fine but I still can't help but feel embarrased about it

Meh I had a full on sexy looong dream about my previous boss the other night. Never ever thought of him in that way, happily married but woke up horny as hell after this dream. Told my DH about it a few days later and he just laughed. We trust each other so it's all good. He told me in turn about a dirty dream he had once about dentist who is female at least! I too just laughed. Dont sweat it OP.

Awe don't feel bad OP! Plenty of people do it or wake up talking as if their dreams were real.

I've definitely had weirder dreams I just hope waking up shouting doesn't become a regular thing for me

I used to do this all the time OP and I always felt really self conscious about it if I was sharing a room with friends or a partner. People were always nice about it though! And it happens far more rarely now. It’s just one of those things you have to accept, but a decent person won’t give you a hard time about it.

I once had a dream where I had sex with Prince Charles on the back seat of a coach. If I’d shouted out his name I think DH would be impressed by my ambition!

OP it probably won’t happen that often. You were asleep, you have no control over what you dream or shout out.

I had a VERY vivid (graphic 😳) sex dream about me and Gordon Ramsay!! I woke up in a real lather about this...I don't even like him! But he was WILD I tell you...and now whenever I see him on tv I blush to my roots 😳 Not sure anyone will ever surpass his bedroom prowess 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
