I would have an anonymous "who gives a shit"
alert button, which I personally would use for all the people who publicly tag their mate on an in-joke or when they're arranging to go out together. Why can't you just privately message them? Why does everyone else have to see a joke they don't understand or arrangements they're excluded from?!

I would also have a "stealth brag" alert button you can press anonymously when you see one! I might wear that one out!

Oh I'd love for people to not be able to check in at a hospital Grin

MrsJDornan · 18/04/2019 22:21

Or if they could still do it it automatically flashed up attention seeking post

Forthepurposesofthetape · 18/04/2019 22:22

a meh button or a eye rolling symbol

XXcstatic · 18/04/2019 23:19

Not social media exactly, but I would remove the cc option from all email.

A Virtue Signalling / I Call Bullshit button - you don't really give a shit in your day to day life about the people of Syria, Disabled Children, Dementia, etc so don't post on SM like you really do.

Give me the choice to 'I Call Bullshit' and then I might think SM is worthwhile.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 18/04/2019 23:34

An eyeroll reaction

Forthepurposesofthetape · 19/04/2019 08:30

I would also introduce a limit on photos - my friend posts about 40 photos every day of every move her children make!
