sitting on hold, waiting to get through to someone to get my user name - message repeated CONSTANTLY! "Did you know you can manage your account online....?"

Drives me nuts, I'm sitting on hold as I don't have a sodding username which I cannot get unless I talk to you on the phone, so I cant manage my account online!!!

As an enthusiastic online user for everything, it annoys me more than I can say ... I'd love to do it online, but either (a) your site is down, or (b) it's shit and won't let me do what I want to do (generally closing accounts ) or (c) it's shit and barfed when I was trying to do what I wanted to do.

It only takes a few moments thought to design the phone menu to steer online queries to a different hold message than regular queries, so it's not a great advert for that organisations organisation .

yeah - agreed, I will do anything I can not to actually talk to someone on the phone!!
