How do you cope without a washing machine!!!!!!
Definitely think twice about Miele, they are fabulous machines when they work but lets face it we only pay for reliability and when they go wrong only their people can fix it. I have waited two weeks and now face another week without a washing machine. I would get a new one but mine is new - only 4 months old
There are lots of local tradesmen who could fix other brands

Argh. That's a nightmare. We had problems with our Samsung when we had it, only Samsung insisted they came out as it's was brand new, yet threatened us with huge costs if the engineer decided it was out fault. It wasn't, the machine wrecked our brand new flooring and Samsung couldn't care less. So I think all these big companies are too big for their boots and really don't care much about individual customers. Hope it gets sorted soon.

Contact who you bought Miele washing machine from and insist on a replacement. To be in need of repair after only 4 months us ridiculous. Quote the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
You must have a duff one as Miele comes our top in the Which? consumer guide. It's the most reliable make around.

I have a Samsung and it's months old and I have had the engineer out twice and waiting a week for him now!

So annoying - motherboard this time apparently!!
