Chimerica should not be 'ch'

Really annoying me. It's repeatedly advertised on C4. Chimera is a hard k sound. They've tried to be oh so clever with the name but are just lazy/ daft so have to repeat their manufactured word incessantly.

Isn't it also a play on words with China (and chimera)? Hence the 'ch' sound..?

I worked on the original theatre production- it’s definitely a CHimerica sound not Kimerica. Yes a play on China/America.

Really looking forward to this, missed,it as a stage play but lucy Kirkwoods stuff is always thought provoking and she is very good at giving your predjudice sam thorough shake up.
